about
The 2nd official single as part of the long awaited return of Primalfrost, the Epic/Symphonic one-man metal band of Canadian musician Dean Paul Arnold. "Nomad" incorporates melodicism and symphonics with the grit and heaviness of intense guitar playing and vocals. The full length album "Lost Elegies" will be released this year.
lyrics
(Lyrics):
Falling from the limbo of despair
I can't fathom the immensity
So lost, so cold, I have lost my way
No one left to save me from myself
(Chorus)
Take me away, so far
Carry me to, the unknown
Stray from darkness of my being
So alone on this path
It only gets darker
My contempt for life grows stronger
I am a castaway, a nomad
Gazing through the vast landscapes before me
My past is dead, like my soul I once knew
My flesh, weakened, soon to be no more
Time dissolves, into oblivion
It fades away, like dreams and memories
Never to be grasped again
For this life is but a wave in time
Only to be, forgotten
Fallen, forgotten, left astray, soon to be no more
(Chorus)

Masterful use of acoustic passages and synth stuff. This is definitely my favorite black metal-dungeon synth kinda album I've found recently. Each track flows into the next so well, I cannot recommend it enough. Perri
Russian Technical / Melodic Death Metal. These guys are incredible! As long as you are prepared for the electronic additions & synths then you are in for one hell of a ride! The emphasis with these guys is "if it sounds good, we use it" & that is precisely how it should be! They then add an inordinate amount of technicality to the mix & the result is superb! Plus including the instrumentals is a fantastic addition for me. Highly recommended!!! bmurator
Australian band Aquilus smashes genre boundaries to smithereens, combining classical orchestration with black metal on this riveting LP. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 13, 2021
Thank you Bmurator for the find. This is an interesting mix of tech / melodic / death metal with electronic instruments and I totally dig it !! sachavonkarl74
